Development and Validation GC/MS Method for Methamphetamine Analysis in Urine by Miniaturization QuEChERS

This paper explains the development of a quick and easy gas chromatography (GC) approach to identify methamphetamine in urine. research used with mass spectroscopy capillary column TG-5SILMS (5% phenyl methyl siloxane, 30 m x 0.32 25 m). The carrier flow rate was set at 1.0 mL/minute, temperature inlet detector had been 300°C, oven programmed initiate 50°C held for 1.5 minutes before being raised 300°C 40°C/minute 3 minutes. Sample pre-treatment by modification QuEChERS method includes using relatively large amount inorganic salt, extraction volume cycle. optimal conditions processing 400 uL urine sample were 160 mg magnesium sulphate, 40 sodium chloride, acetonitrile organic solvent. According validation test, detection limit 0.36 ug/mL; quantitation 1.09 ug/mL, calibration curve followed regression line. y=1.0489x-3.7914, coefficient (r) 0.9973. recovery analyte spiked into 5, 7 9 ug/mL on average 100.5±2.33% intraday dan 93.3±7.21% interday. precision excellent, an variation 2.31%. procedure applied four samples from drug users first abuser (25.51 ug/mL), second (15.05 third (17.72 ug/mL) last (3.08 all satisfactorily quantitated.
